Part 4: The Importance of Sexual Intimacy
in Marriage

I have a dear friend from Puerto Rico. She would stay with our family when the temperature would go into the teens. Her heat pump would go into resistance mode and her apartment was simply not warm enough. She is used to a warm climate. She flows in prophetic gifts. We would all pray together and she said J.T. there are angels standing all around the grounds of your home. She said they have swords that are as tall as these nine foot ceilings in your home.

Let me tell you friend, there is good and there is evil. There are forces at work to destroy homes and families. Just as there are angels standing guard. And there is a real Holy Spirit in us  for those of us who ask for Him to come in.

Remember the accident that sent me to rehabilitation and damaged my muscles. The accident Ken and I had was no accident. I believe it was an attack. If I told you what happened to us you probably would think I have a great imagination.

My husband and I were vacationing in St Maarten in the Antilles. We were staying in a four star resort. We had been taking part in the water aerobics just about every day which over looked the bay. The last day of our vacation, which had been exquisitely beautiful and quiet, I stood in the pool with my husband. He was standing  about 15 feet away when I felt a tingle in the water.

But the tingle got stronger and stronger. I yelled to my husband and almost instantly I was sucked under the water. My entire body went into elaborate convulsions, I was in agony, prostrate, flat on my back arms extended as if by themselves underwater unable to breath. A powerful force had taken over my body and my legs were extended out. I tried to pray in the spirit but I could not talk. I was silently screaming inside as waves of intense excruciating pain ran through out my body. I was being hit with electricity. I saw a bright light, and for an instant believed I was going on to be with the Lord and then everything went dim. As if a curtain had closed. I passed out.

My next recollection was being yanked from the water and being thrown up on the pool’s deck. I was coughing up water and praying in my special prayer language loudly. My feet and calves were red. My heart was beating wildly. The Lord had saved us. I had no burns no damage to my heart according to the heart specialist . My husband had been by my side the entire time trying to pull me up to get air but the electricity was sucking me under and eventually he fell backwards. He too was red and heart beating wildly hunched over on his knees appearing to have been in a battle.

One of my prophetic friends who was praying later told me we had been in a huge fight. I said “Tell me about it.”

You see there is a real devil and he has troops of demonic forces and they come to kill, steal and destroy. The enemy tried to take my husband and I out together. It was not an accident. Just like in a marriage when a husband and wife are not coming together and not giving God the highest form of worship to the Lord by bringing their bodies together – it is not an accident. There is a breech. There is an opening where the enemy can come in and destroy your marriage. This is not understanding your husband’s need for sex.

I don’t know why many women do not see that making time to make love with your husband cannot and should not be on the same or less priority with getting the laundry done, cooking the meals, helping the kids with their homework, going to aerobics or washing your hair.

If you want to see some victory in your life start submitting yourself to God by obeying his commands in all areas of praise and worship. That is with your body. That is with giving yourself to your husband, wives and living an entire lifestyle pleasing to the Lord. Sex and Music are two of the most powerful areas that the enemy sends strongholds in because they are so powerful.

Let me explain. You and your husband can go out to dinner and to the movies and that’s very nice . You and your husband can hold hands, eat popcorn and watch “Biggest Loser” together on the couch that’s very nice. You can pray for him and rub him down in some massage crème that’s very romantic. Now you and your husband can make love.

When he enters your body, you have just evoked heaven to pour out healing in your marriage and anointing . The release of your husband is further symbolic of the release taking placed. The release of endorphins in your body is further symbolic of the release. You release. Your husband releases. God releases. Where there is unity blessings are commanded to flow. Blessings are released.

The Bible says a wife is a good thing. We all know that scripture. I am telling you a wife is a sacred thing.
