Part 6: Pray About it

We have talked a lot about prayer in this Special Report. God can give you insight concerning your spouse and yourself if there are deeper levels of healing required. There may be hurts and bruises that must heal before one of you feels that they can give themselves totally to the other.

You will notice that the man has been given the lead in the home . That is because you man are the spiritual head of your home. There is tremendous power and responsibility in being in that role. If you love your wife like God loves the church and nourish and cherish her she will pour out so much love to you it will be unreal.

Man - start having a short Bible study with your wife and kids once a week. Take charge  of the spiritual health of your family and watch God bless every aspect of your marriage. Also, please watch your language while you are in bed with your wife. It may be offensive to her and she has not said anything but may be a big turnoff. Be careful how you refer to parts of her body. Treat her with respect.

Here’s a Prayer for Men who wish more Intimacy with their wives

Lord teach me how to love my wife. She is a precious jewel acccording to the scriptures.

I know I must dwell with her according to knowledge.

Give me wisdom on how to love her and reduce her stress.

Lord teach me how to listen to her and be concerned about the things she’s concerned about even it’s the color of the curtains in the kitchen or the fact that the kids are making B’s instead of A’s.

Lord let me never neglect her. Lord I will never abuse her.

Today, if I owe her an apology for anything in my past, I will apology to her and you.

Lord help me to be lead my family in your ways God.”

Did you know a recent survey showed that the number one thing Christian wives wanted from their husbands was for them to pray with them?

I will end with this anecdote. I was praying for my husband one day in the church. Our church opens its doors for prayer Monday through Saturday from 11am to two pm with the goal of being a 24 hour a day prayer center. I was praying for my husband and myself and this is no joke. I was on my knees and my eyes were closed and I saw my house. But it was different. There was a surreal peacefulness about my home. I was walking through my home and my bedroom was immaculate the family home was clean. The kitchen like a showplace. I said God, “That’s my house but really its not my house because right now my house is like sort of a wreck.”

So I said , “Lord, are you telling me you want my house to look like that?” I sensed in my spirit he did. So the next week I cleaned up, especially the bedroom. At the end of the week on Friday, my husband called me while he was at work and said, “I want to take you out.” I noticed everyday he came home he was so happy and perky. Just between you me and the fence post the house was really getting on his nerves. It was getting on mines too but the Lord was kind enough to reveal to me the level of aggravation it was causing my spouse. Isn’t God good?

Now if God in his goodness would reveal something like that, tell me he would not reveal to you the deep things concerning your spouse so that corrections can be made. It’s a new day. It may be something really easy to rectify what’s driving your spouse crazy. Don’t let the enemy steal anything from you today. There was a time when you and your spouse were great lovers. You claim that today and restoration will be yours.

Wife seek the Lord. Ask him to reveal to you the deep things concerning your husband and for wives please get our newly released ministry book for married women.
