The Facts:

  1. According to the  Newsweek study "No Sex, Please, We're Married"  published in 2003, 15-20 percent of marriages have sex less than ten times per year.

  2. Take this NBC quiz to determine if you are in a sex starved marriage. Reflect on  your answers. There are no right or wrong answers but a healthy marriage is affectionate, connects often, and forgives quickly. 1. Part 1 of the this multi-article special report simply asks married couples to reflect on the greatness of God and how God created the entire world from nothing. A marriage may be looking into an abyss, void of intimacy,  but The God of New Beginnings provides incredible hope for sexless marriages. Based on Christian principles, this first report sets the tone for the entire series.

2. Many married couples entered marriage full of passion. Their love and attraction for each other was never a question. So what happens to cause the  downward spiral in a sexless marriage and how is it recognized? A marriage lacking can only recover once both partners realize they are absent of  physical connection  and headed in the wrong direction. Part 2 of this special report is a definite eye opener.

3. Remember the last time you  got a cough and then it turned into chills? Next thing you know you had a headache too but you continued to clock in like nothing was wrong. Maybe you didn't even realize how really  sick you were until you stopped, went to the doctor, obtained a diagnosis, and he wrote a prescription. One prescription for the passionless marriage may seem extreme for some but requires discontinuing the rushed schedule and facing the problem directly. In Part 3 of this special report, the author shares one personal experience and some incredible insight into recovery for the sex-starved marriage.

4. Real spiritual forces are at work in Christian marriages today. Certainly sexual intimacy in marriage is a Biblical requirement. In Part 4 you will understand the importance of sexual intimacy in marriage and how the enemy, the prince of darkness, uses this powerful "covenant act" to separate and divide married couples.

5. Connecting with your spouse should be fun. Make plans to kick the tires and light the fires. As you go and as you kick the intimacy into a regular thing, watch out as your marriage takes off into orbit. The riding the bicycle rule sounds corny but it works.

6. The God ordained covenant connecting of husband and wife is a spiritual thing. It is a physical act of love, passion, care,  and affection. Moreover, you can  command blessings over your marriage by speaking the right words. So pray about all aspects of  your love life married people and watch God do great things. You cannot and should not use intimidation tactics, or guilt in trying to bring your spouse into physical relationship with you.  Love them into relationship with you and seek the giver of life for your marriage.
